Has been and always will be my comic spot!! Love selection and the presentation of their comic books. The employees have always been so nice to my son and I. They are awesome people and store owners! Great spot for holiday shopping too.

So I tried this store out twice in a year, and I had bad experiences both times. The first time I was buying comics, and they had marked the new releases 50 cents higher than list price. When I asked if they did that for all new releases or just certain series they told me ALL comic stores do that. Well im not from Oregon originally, and I know that this is the first place that I've been to that charges extra for more profit. I've also been to other comic stores in Eugene and confirmed that pretty much every other place that sells new comics does it for list price. I also noticed the one piece stickers are knock off, with improper spellings of character names. Im sure all the other cheap stickers there are knock offs too. The second encounter I had I browsed the store, I was asked if I needed help by the male worker, and I ended up choosing not to buy anything and just grab a few free comic previews. I went up to the counter to show I only had free previews and wasnt taking things I wasnt supposed to, and the lady told me they normally only give the FREE previews to paying customers. I responded by saying i was behind on reading comics and was trying to get back in. She then said, and I quote: "this isn't going to help you". I told her I know its not going to catch me up on old series, but it will introduce me to the new ones and ya know, Maybe entice me to come back in the store and BUY them. Forget that. rudest and most overpriced nerd shop I've ever been in, and this has been a hobby of mine for over 15 years. Go to literally anyone else but this place, it will save you money and you can still support local business.
